Finally got this beast done, added some brass knuckles up front and brass portal covers all around. Some IERC bumpers finished this thing off perfectly. I wasn’t happy with the gearing, so I added 36% overdrive to both axles so I could gear the transmission down. Was able to drop to a 14/56. The thing runs super smooth and unreal low end control. It weighs in at 5lbs 14.6oz rtr with a battery. Pretty happy over all especially with the extra parts for the 4ws. I cannot wait to get out and test this thing. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hey thanks guys, sorry I kind of spaced on this thread. I was able to catch a small break in the weather last weekend. It was pretty cold and wet so traction wasn’t the best and I need to play with foams, but it was pretty fun tooling around with the 4ws. I can see how having the steering mixed could complicate things when trying to compete or make certain lines but I’m going to let it ride for the time being. I’ve got some things in the works for this thing also. Pics to come! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I got a surprise in the mail today, new dlux portal transmission. Swapped out the 2.low for this tiny little guy. Can’t wait to get out and give it a test run. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Since I'm such a fan of my G-Speed V3, I decided to pull the trigger on a G-Shot build. Here's the list of parts: V3 rails G-Shot kit with Hardcore stainless links TGH 2.low trans TGH slipper eliminator Dravtech shocks Supershafty Capra steering axles Treal knuckles up front TGH Mild OD gears up front HH 500v3 servos Castle Mamba X Micro HH 2500kv Snubnose revolver TGH V1.1 wheels CI foams Hyrax tires I'll make up some sort of tub rear bumper when I get some time, but it does well at my local spot. With a 1300mah 3s it weighs in at 5.8 pounds. Pics to come shortly... |
