Hello all,

New to these forums, this is my G-speed I'm piecing together with some old school parts and will be a budget build. I am trying to keep it <$500 Australian Dollars which is proving difficult, but repurposing old parts and using sensible cheaper stuff that works. There isn't much info out there for a 4 link front for these so I hope it works. Hoping to learn from you guys who have these things dialled!

- G10 Chassis
- Vader Flat skid
- China Trans? (don't know what this is lol)
- Alloy boat sides
- Titanium links
- Traxxas Big bore shocks, Losi Mini-T springs (rears seem too firm to me)
- Junfac drive shafts .
- AX10 Axles I think, or OG SCX10, if you know please advise.
- VP knuckles, VVDs, c hubs, over drive in front, under in rear, Vanquish Lockouts on the rear, 4340 axle insides
- Rc bros knuckle weights.
- Hulksta smash plate.
- Cheap cheerful 32kg servo

I tried fitting a 540 Holmes Trailmaster motor and unfortunately the rod ends hit the can so I have ordered a Brood 35T stubby that hurt the bank account and will pair that with the faithful hobbywing 1080 ESC and 1300mah 3S packs

Cheers.

Sorry for the large images.

I have a membership account here and can post directly from my PC, recommended size is no larger than 1200x1200 - but I'm sure others will chime in on free image-hosting accounts that can be used...

EDIT: Found this list of best free image-hosting sites for 2022:

I post the same way as durok does with a membership here on RCC. I also have the Tapatalk app on my iPhone and post pictures from there as well. With Tapatalk I post pics in medium size.

Thanks man! Got it running a couple weeks ago, and love it so far. Surprises me how capable it is for a land-yacht.

I’m starting to gather parts for a v1c1 with fmm build using f10 axles. Any idea idea what link kits would work for this set up?

similar set up here ... TGH-HH sherpa - fmm with f10s ... I used a set of hardcore RC CAPRA axle set as i originally intended to use the mentioned set up but with the capra axles. All the 12.3" links worked great with the F10 axles with obvious exemption of the steering tie rod. Just used the original F10 one. I used the F10's out of my Phoenix so I mocked up the original phoenix links and seem like they could have worked on the sherpa although the HARCORERC link has got high clearance bends which for a cheater rig are better. hope this helps your build. One thing though the F10s driver side pumpkin is very far to the driver side I had to flip my Fmm to have driveshaft clearance.

Links are sorted. Last I checked intheworks wasn’t accepting orders but now they are. So I got a custom set of links coming from them.

I had a feeling about the clearance issue with were the pumpkin is. I have the mirrored stuff on its way.

I’ve got alot of the truck either on its way or ordered now. Will post pics as soon as I have everything

Finally finished it, first time on the rocks today and it blew my mind. Almost like hard lines are no challenge for this thing. Kind of shocked me.

Looking forward to the next comp now.

Still a work in progress but it’s coming along. Note in the second pic the axles are not mounted to the chassis at all
