Thanks Topher, this place (Crater Nation) goes in for miles and miles. We haven’t even scratched it!😈

The line in the video, (Jetro’s Crack, B Line) is one of the lines we discovered a just a few weeks ago and so far the two rigs in the video are the only two to have conquered it.

Lots of fun! 😆

Though I haven't measured, mine should be right at 12.3. I run a MST JP1 body that fits quite well.

What length shocks are you guys typically running with this chassis?

I used some Element Enduro 90mm shocks, now using Traxxas GTS shocks that I think are 90mm. Depending on your build, you could use something from an 80mm to around 100mm.

Thats what was thinking.

I just got a capra to scavenge axles from and a few other parts as well. It came with element enduro shocks (bronze body) and if they work I will use them on this build.

I do have a TRX and could use those shocks as well.

@Lashlee, just curious as to why you switched from one shock to the other? Do you like the traxxas ones better?

I will be posting pictures in the near future as I am still gathering some parts for the build, that being said I will probably have some more questions for you all in the near future!

Thanks!

Honestly, it's a long story but I had the GTS shocks on the Capra and in the process of buying parts, I had nearly enough parts to build a Capra axle based Sherpa and an Enduro based G-Speed. I later found a set of AR45p axles so I decided to swap to the GTS shocks and build the Enduro back as a hard body trail truck. If I buy another set of shocks it will be the Enduro bronze ones.

Here is what I got going so far;
Carbon chassis
TGH 2.low transmission
Intheworks SS high clearance links
Junfac drive shafts (probably a little shorter than ideal but they were borrowed from the other rig to get this one rolling.)
