Thanks guys. Lou, yours is looking pretty good too man.

I'm starting testing and tuning now so I grabbed a few more pics before it gets completely rock rashed. I have to say I like these polished wheels on it.

How did you get your winch servo in with out destroying your wires.

It wasn't easy! I made a recess on the bottom side of the TGH DSM for the wires to fit into when you tilt the servo into place. I wasn't sure if it would even work, but I was finally able to get the servo in there.

G-Speed Rigs Only

The new project showed up in the mail today. Got a slider built and can’t wait to get this thing finished. Pretty straight forward build, I used the links off the 6x6 and had to get a little creative. But here we are.
Gspeed v1 c1 w/ gmp, lay down servo mount, and sliders.
Ar45p axles
Dravtech 90mm shocks
Capra trans for now, I have an intheworks fmm coming that I’m going to play with.
Still deciding on a body
eBay wheels and I’ll be running g8 km3’s
Electronics will be, micro x Crawler with a castle slate and a Holmes v3 of course.

It might be more than 2 weeks, ordered mine on the 7th showed shipped on the 10th but just says label created. I know he’s backed up but I’d rather it not be marked shipped until it actually gets shipped

I'm a fan of the JP1, but I have a Proline Hilux cab on my Sherpa with a tube rear cage. I've heard the MST FJ body is great but the flat bed is a little heavy for a true comp rig.

I’d probably do the jp1 rig, but it’s up to you. If you feel it’s too wide, there’s always the tgh wheel option. They’re spendy but do suck in nicely. Looking forward to seeing what you do.
I was in the market for some F9’s but some ar45p’s popped up on eBay so I grabbed another set of those for now.

G-Speed Rigs Only

Well I got my Intheworks fmm yesterday and I’m trying to mount it up. Running ar45p’s so the motor drop is on the passenger side. Motor plate is hitting the upper link, hardcore high clearance.
I had the body post mounts on the inside, so I’ll have to rework those if I can get it to fit.
But the revolver will not work without the wires hanging out the bottom. Pretty bummed, spent over $65 shipped and waited 5 weeks for this thing. Should have just bought the tgh fmm.

Re: G-Speed Rigs Only

It’s always a bit of a challenge fitting links and shafts around these FMMs.

Couple of options to throw out there:

- smaller pinion. Maybe a 9t or 10t would bring the motor up a tad.
- move the upper link to the outside of the mounting hole on the axle.

Not sure what can be done about the wires. My v1c1 has them coming out in a similar spot but more to the side, about 3 o’clock.

That’s a bummer! I wondered how the ITW FMM would fit and if there were any issues.

I did have issues with my upper link hitting my TGH FMM motor plate. I just put a little bend in the link so it would clear the plate at full compression.

Re: G-Speed Rigs Only

Thanks for the insight guys, I emailed them and will be calling later to see what happens. In the meantime, I think I snagged the last tgh fmm last night. So the ITW one may find its way on the 6x6

What motor are you running? Also what material are your links? Not sure how easy the titanium will bend. I’ve pretty much made up my mind the ITW fmm will be going in my 6x6 since I have the tgh one coming now
