Look forward to seeing more.

I’m planning on using a builders kit 2 for my v3 build as well. I was debating on 10.3 portals but the element route just seems a lot better to do specially after seeing the one topher did

Howdy everyone, been lurking on the forum for a little while now and thought I'd post up my current build after watching this thread and the awesome builds you all have done. I've never done a comp rig so I thought why not do a C2 just for fun and try the comp side.

mine goes like this:
V3 carbon element package (others were sold out at the time)
Hardcore titanium HC links
G-LD servo mount
TGH FMM with 15% t-case
TGH t-case adapter
SSD pro44 rear
stock ar44 front with aluminum link mounts (alum or brass c hubs and knucks if needed for weight)
Boom racing HD topshaft
Gspeed AR44 panhard mount

things to get:
dravtechs (have traxxas BB's on a 10.2 custom wanted to try something different)
HH revolver or puller pro stubby (see how I like the noise)
Mamba micro X
body will most likely be the tamiya 350 body.. though I've always liked the clod... Hardbodies appeal a lot more to me than lexan and im willing to sacrifice some performance for points
super shafty drive shafts.
debating between HH servo or ShiftRC.
servo winch

Looks like a great start to an awesome G-rig!

Looking forward to seeing more! You should consider making a build thread for this build!

Another project that I have been slowly working on for the past few months. A GSpeed V3-C3. I stole the axles out of my Axial Capra and decided to use the TGH 2.Low E.B.R Edition trans that I picked up earlier in the year.

No build thread started yet, but may sit down and throw one together when I get time. Hoping to jump back on this build soon to get it finished up.

Also need to get back on my V1-C1 (B-MOW's GSPEED V1-C1 Mojave Class 1 Build) build since @indybama re-lit the fire to get it done!

I finished my first G-speed build the other day. Ended up going with some AR45Ps that came up for sale instead of the Element axles I originally started the build with. I can't wait to get it out and see how it performs!

Went to Cheaha State Park this mornin. Had a good trail run n then disaster hit lol. A buddy asked 'how fast will it go?' So i was gettin a vid for him n tryin to watch the truck on the phone. Hit a rock head on at full throttle. Thankfully the only thing damaged was the front driveshaft. But i think that was more from the full throttle at a dead stop than the hit, due to the center section being twisted. Time for incision driveshafts...

I added a few scenic pics too. To bad i cant add vid too

Nice views!

Wow, that must have been a hard hit! I've never had a WB break. That may have just kept something else from exploding! Yep, agree on the Incision driveshaft upgrade. It's hard to beat them!!

Guys what's the advantage of using Element Stealth X trans over stock SCX10 II trans?
Only reason I can think of is having overdrive but this can also be achieved with SCX10 trans by changing gears in the axle?

Seen couple of rigs with Element Stealth X trans here but none with SCX10.

One possibility is more overdrive with ft ring/ pinion od + stealth od. I run the 2low trans. and keep the stock r/p.

Made it to cheaha again this weekend. Had a few mishaps but they were easy fixes. Got the front driveshaft in a bind a couple times n it popped apart. Headed back to the truck to leave n the panhard came loose from the axle. I seen the screw was out a bit, but it wouldnt turn, so i ran it lol. On the 2nd batt in the v3 n it backed out itself n got into the tire. Thankfully no damage to anything. Love goin up to cheaha! Pulpit rock is a better spot than Bald rock imo...

Found bigfoots liquor rock too lol
