Great looking G-rig! Sittin' nice and low! I've always like this body! Great color too! I think this is the first GSpeed rig I've seen with the OG AX10/SCx10 axles.

Freshy! Parts in video description. Dravtech shock on the way. Right now these are axials with scx24 40mm shock hard springs under the piston. Maybe spend a little more on the wheels? These cheap ones seep to work fine. Tried out the incision clone driveshafts and had to cut so they’ll be replaced with real ones eventually now I know what size to get. Axles aren’t so bad. If they break I’ll replace with better ones.

I hear ya on the fun with the C1! Hear lately I've been into more of the smaller scale class 1 builds. Speaking of that, I still need to get me a$$ in gear and get my V1-C1 G-rig done!

I can see how the sliders would catch on everything. I wonder if the metal sliders designed for the Mojave II body would fit it?!?! Those sliders may tuck in tighter.

Thanks brian, ill check into those. Down side is im runnin the vs4-10 sliders, so the rock slider part would need to bolt up the same. Ive got the vs4 ones somewhere, just cant find them

Went to run my 4ws v3 on Sunday, plugged a battery in with it on the hood of my truck before attempting to drive it up my windshield like I do from time to time. When I heard a rather strange noise and the truck wouldn’t move.. instead of investigating right away I did what any normal person would do, and tried to power through it.. when parts started falling out.. d’oh!
The cheap “kyx” universals in the rear spit a pin out which broke the housing and the universal itself. So I grabbed some kyx housings because the stock plastics are on backorder, vp is a little rich for my blood and these were about half the cost of treals. Guess we will see how well they hold up.
I’d recommend some glue or jb weld over the small pins in the future.

That's right. I forgot you are running them sliders.

I forget where I've seen it, but somebody made a set of steel sliders that attached to the VS4-10 sliders. (Might have been Matt from SBG or possibly Harley) That may be an option if you could fab some up.

Ouch! Curious to hear how the KYX housings hold up. I've seen them, but never tried them.

The ones ive got are from rc4wd. They have another style, but same issue, theyre to wide for this body. Theyre more for the wider vs4 body. I think, if i can find the original plastic ones, theyd work perfect. Just cant remember where in the world i put the dang things

Thanks mate, In Australia parts and know how are hard to come across, so sometimes the old stuff is all we can get and luckily works really well. This rig amazes me with the lines it can pull, a few small mods to make it C2 legal here and hopefully can do well with it.
