Default G-Speed Rigs Only

Since it doesn’t make sense to have a sub for these flat rail chassis options I wanted to start a few general threads where everyone can share their builds, when they don’t want to start their own threads.

So, if you have a gspeed rig post it here and tell us about it

I recently 'finished' a G-Speed TGH V3 build. I say 'finished' as I'm about to swap the ar44's out for Capra axles.

G-Speed TGH-V3 carbon fiber chassis
GSPEED TGH-V3 electronics tray sliders
Team Garage Hack dual servo mount
Team Garage Hack TGH-HH forward motor mount
With 15% od transfer case
Vanquish driveshafts
Boom Racing top shaft
InTheWorks RC stainless high clearance links
3Brothers RC Yellowjacket 1500kv outrunner
Mamba Micro X
HeyOK No Brainer BEC
HiTec 7955tg
AR44 axles, with cromoly axle shafts, vanquish gears, Locked Up RC FI lockers.
Stock 8/30 gears in the rear, overdrive gears in the front axle
SSD brass knuckles
Brass diff covers front and rear
DLux Dravtech short shocks, soft springs in fron, medium in the rear, IIRC
Pro-Line Power Wagon body shell, cut down quite a bit.
Salinas Design power wagon drop bed.
Current wheels are chinese aluminum beadlocks off Amazon.
Crawler Innovations foams, CWR-2024 front, CWR-2025 rear.
Pro-Line tires, Hyrax and Krawler KX's, both in predator compound.
The Crawl Space stinger front bumper, and one of their shorter front bumpers on the rear.

I'm switching to capra axles with TGH OD portal gears, vanquish main gears, fi lockers, Super Shafty rear link riser, and brass knuckles/portal covers in the front. I'm also switching to Hardcore RC titanium links made for the G-Speed with capra's.

I am absolutely loving this rig, it's teaching me so much, and bringing hours of enjoyment.

Cheers,
Gable

ps, I have since painted the brass diff covers black, as the shiny brass was annoying me...

I'll get some pics posted this afternoon but here's the lineup of my GSpeed:

GSpeed CF chassis
GSpeed LD Lay down servo mount
GSpeed G-MP panhard mount
GSpeed sliders
TGH 2.low trans
Beef Tubes Enduro hard front axle
SSD Front brass knuckels
SSD Aluminum C Hubs
SSD aluminum diff cover
Enduro Hard rear axle
SSD rear axle weights
SSD aluminum diff cover
Enduro RTR shocks
Enduro MIP driveshafts
In the works SS high clearance links
HH SHV500v3
HH Snubnose Revolver 2500kv
CC Sidewinder 4
SR515
MST JP1 body (I just realized Topher has the same body!)
SSD Assassin wheels PL Krawler T/A's in Predator
Custom front bumper
5.8 pounds ready to run

Overall I'm really impressed with this setup. I took it out for the first time last Friday to my local spot, to a particular rock that my Capra could do with ease but my old Enduro had trouble with, and it easily passed it with flying colors!

In the pics is a highly trimmed CRC bumper from a 10.2 kit build. I’m not sure what I’m going to end up using. I’m knee deep in a Mojave body for it. I’ve got the cab pinched. I’m now waiting for the bed to show up so i can get it dovetailed and mounted. I’ll post some better pics later today.

Send me a PM with your address and I'll just send you one of mine.

Here is how my rig sits at this moment. The mojave bed is arriving today as well as a couple other minor parts I've been waiting for. I'll post more as I progress.

The Salinas flatbeds make great bases to mount your body to. I have both their drop bed and flat bed for the G-Speed chassis. For the Power Wagons on G-Speed chassis, it's a great option.

For the front I got some of the body mount things G-Speed sells, I used an axial body post in it, cut down to fit.
