The rebuild of my Vanquish Products VS4-10 is almost complete, I got the axles and shocks mounted again. Next step, paint my new shell and build the interior. Here is a video I made show the neat RPM Cage for the SW4. Here is a video of when I made the battery plate. Last edited by justinart24; 11-03-2020 at 01:13 AM. |

Another update on my Vanquish Products VS4-10, I am working hard to get this ready for a WARCRC Scale event coming up. I have had this Origin Halfcab body for while and finally got around to use it. The last color I used was a little bright, so this time I went with a more relaxed looking color. I did a two ton paint job, black roof and black hood detail. On a side now, I recently found these Tamiya masking tape dispenses and really dig then, it helped make quick work of the masking job. I used a 6mm and 10mm tap thickness. I painted up my Vanquish Products VS4-10 and used PS-63 Bright Gun Metal as the main color and a PS-5 Black for the roof and hood detail. |

With my Vanquish Products VS4-10 all painted up, I decided to apply a flat clear on the outside (PS-55 Flat Clear(For Polycarbonate)). It takes a bit of time but you just mask off the outer windows and headlight/taillight openings. I have done this flat car on my AE86 Drift car, UMG10 and Flatbed Unimog. I really like the look, the shiny lexan outer looks a bit toy-ish and the flat clear help pull off that old Scout paint job. |

Oh man! That looks great! Nice work for sure. Side note, I need you to do all my painting from now on. I hate painting lexan bodies! |

Looks great! I've always been a big fan of the PS-63 Bright Gun Metal. I have quite a few of my rigs painted in this color. I never thought of spraying the flat clear over the gun metal! Gives it that "sleeper" look! Great job on the rebuild! Good luck and have fun at the scale comp! |

I was able to get some driving in with my newly rebuild Vanquish Products VS4-10 and wow the overdrive is awesome. I was worried that having the transfer case OD gears, front OD axle gears and the rear UD gears was going to be too much... but now, really worked well going through the courses at the 2020 WARCRC "SORRCA" Scale Comp 3 yesterday. It's really got me thinking to run the same setup in Class One as well. |
