G-Speed v3 or scattergun???

I have some scxiii portals sitting. I was loooking at the chassis available now. I like the gspeed and I have a NWSD scatter gun sitting here. What would you guys recommend? I have read a few posts. Looked around and builds. Just not sure. Either way I am building something.

Some input that would help would be
- shocks you would recommend
- transmission

Thanks ahead of time.

Have any specific axles on hand or in mind for this?

My buddy won a comp out here with a scatter gun trx4 build, his first comp ever too. Seems like a solid direction for that chassis.

Gspeed’s and ar44s have a proven track record of success as well.

Axles will be ar45p.
I watched a video of the breakdown of the gspeed on YouTube with these and it was pretty good.

Re: G-Speed v3 or scattergun???

I'm pretty impressed with my GSpeed with Enduro axles but I'm hoping the "straight axle conversion" for the 10.3 lets me snatch up some 45p's!! I'm not familiar with the scattergun chassis but I'm sure there are pluses and minus to all of them.

As for shocks, I've used traxxas GTS shocks, Enduro shocks, Dravtechs, and the Incision ones on my Ultra. The GTS would probably be my go to, with the Dravtech's a close second.

I've got the 2.low in my GSpeed and a TGH FMM/Transfer case setup on my Sherpa. I feel like the 2.low limits the motor option (at least on the GSpeed chassis) more so than the FMM. The 2.low is certainly a simpler option.
