Default Robotboy's Element J45C

Since I put the IFS from my Trailrunner on my Gatekeeper I had a new project.
Which is a good thing, kinda, since I love to build and tinker. Not much of a
build thread as most of it was already built when I started. GK kit had an extra
hard plastic cms mount so that went in first. Built the front axle with a FT
machined diff gear and spool. Rebuilt the trans with the 11% OD option. Took
the alum. panhard mount from the GK also. I had to mess with different links
and rod ends to get the wheelbase/axle positions right for the body. WB is 12.5".

Updated Specs as of now:
MST J45C Body, elect. trays and sliders.
Element Trailrunner donor.
Element trans. w/ high OD machined gears ratio.
GPM Al. spur gear adapter & HR metal 87t spur.
HW Fusion 1800kv system. 19T pinion.
CC BEC.
Annimos 25kg servo.
TGH panhard mount.
FT machined diff gear & locker, front.
Beeftubes front axle housing.
SSD Heavy brass knuckles and rear axle weights.
SSD Aluminum C-hubs.
SSD Aluminum link mounts.
SOR rear link riser.
Club5 8mm Brass Wheel Hexes.
Club5 & FT SS high clearance links.
Incision driveshafts.
Vanquish Ripper front bumper.
China aluminum shock towers.
Chinesium 1.9 beadlocks.
Proline 1.9 Hyrax tires.
CI Lil Nova Comp cut foams, soft-front, med-rear.
3Racing winch w/ cheesy micro esc, Team3Six cable & warn hook.

Been waiting for a reason to bite the bullet and get the MST J45C body since I
first laid eyes on it. Thought it was very cool and it is. Nicely made with lots of
accessories and decals. I didn't want it to look like it was new, quite the opposite.
It had to look well used and abused. So this is my first attempt at a weathered
paint job. With my limited skills I'm pretty happy with it.

After it's first run I'm impressed. Runs and crawls great. The HW Fusion is a
nice setup for this truck. Plenty of speed and torque. Running a 19T pinion and
after a good deal of crawling it wasn't even warm.

Anyhoo, here it be...

Looks fun, nice work! Do really like that body. I also picked one of those up when they released. Definitively motivation for a future project.

Does the Trailrunner not come with the slider mounted receiver box or did you just leave it out?

Thanks man! I do have the box but it's too big for the MST trays. I don't have
any plans for water sports with this truck, yet, but if I do I'll just throw the
rx in a balloon.

soft-front, med-rear, 3Racing winch w/ cheesy micro esc, Team3Six cable &

A couple new poser shots and a short test video.
My camera ran out of storage. Err
