| GSPEED V3 Chassis Build Question
Struggling to fit a driveshaft between TGH 2.low transmission and AR45 axles. Came up with some initial thoughts and was hoping to hear some feedback. Please refer to the photos below and the following links. Appreciate it. This might be a stupid question but couldn't you just turn the whole skid/ trans/ motor 180 degrees in the chassis rails? Edit: Ok, so it was a stupid question. For some reason I thought that you could swap the output gears from one output shaft to the other so you could run the transmission in either direction and have the OD going to the proper axle. Apparently you can't. Sorry. Last edited by mjensen; 07-17-2021 at 11:16 AM. |

Looks like you're using the TGH skid? if so the mounting holes are slotted, can you just scoot it over a bit till it clears? My Brother ran into this when he forgot about the slotted holes.

I’d give something like this a shot… this shaft is 37.5 mm long so it should give you plenty of room to clear the motor. Not 100% but this should be swappable with the front output shaft on the 2.low. Likely need to shorten the front driveshaft. https://www.amainhobbies.com/axial-s...avqatqgz2xactz |

| Re: GSPEED V3 Chassis Build Question Good call. I did try this and unfortunately still not enough clearance. Thanks for the thought.

maybe too late to help, but i run the incision shafts on mine to get clearance, they're the smallest diameter i could find.

I've got MIP drive shafts on one rig with a 2.low, and Supershafty driveshafts on the other. I know with the MIP stuff you can order different pieces to give you a little more tuning options.
