| Crawler007 FJ40 build
Well I’ve had this truck for about 4yrs now and have never finished building it, that hasn’t stopped me from running it though. I’m tired of looking at the light tan color so I ordered some tamiya paints and got to work. Added a dent or two A little mustard and white. And started a partial restoration (got the front fender in primer. Found a decent windshield frame still need to paint match it. Added some stripes that turned out to resemble an aloe mail jeep (just worked out that way) Pulled the old number and and winch Got some paint of them. Will do some weathering once I get everything painted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That looks good! U got a fender in primer, y not leave the windshield in primer/green? Gives it that fixer upper look

Man the weathering on this looks really terrific. I especially like the rust around the windows. Very cool.

Thanks is Goro. I think I’m finished with the weathering/painting now I need to get the winch working, I’ll post some pics of that process too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It's really, really nice. It looks very realistic and with the real pictures I would definitely think there was a 1: 1
