Re: Snub nose Capra buggy All the makings of a great build! |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy Looks cool so far, interesting choice on a narrower rear axle, but I can think of a few reasons why that would be beneficial. |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy Thanx fellas. Been building Sorrca rigs for so many years been nice lately to just build fun rigs "thumbsup" |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy 5 Attachment(s) Lights are almost done, switches are mounted. |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy 5 Attachment(s) Used a flat delrin skid with UHMV side plates and some carbon stiffeners for upper link holes. |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy Any updates? |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy 4 Attachment(s) Mostly assembled, need to finish wiring and body panels I like the stance so far |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy Looks awesome. What’s the width difference on the axles. |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy 8 Attachment(s) Had great success with this fun-haver today on it's maiden voyage. Rig worked almost perfect. Needs a little rear shock tuning The rock we crawled today in Wendover Nv. was so jagged, wind blown, porous and high traction, that it would wad your tire up trying to turn too sharp and get our servos a little warm. But we could pull some lines I never imagined  |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy Rock looks like it’s made out of sand paper This turned out sweet! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy That's a sweet rig! Nice work |

Thank you! G8 proline tires and similar were King on this terrain, anything softer would just wrinkle and fold |

Re: Snub nose Capra buggy DANG, that looks dope man. I never liked the capra, but i am digging like this. I remember crawling on volcanic rock in eastern oregon. some of it was so sharp it sliced a hole in my proline moabs, it was super grippy though. |

Thanks man, I can't stand the overbite on the Capra front. Much better now! "thumbsup" |
Re: Snub nose Capra buggy 2 Attachment(s) Found a some more pics. I recommend this place if anyone is passing through wendover in the future. Just west of town about a mile up on the hill, easy to get to lots and lots of rock formation |
