Default Revolvers for a scaler/kinda comp rig

Time to get some electronics in my new Monster Mash build.

Decided to go with a Revolver rig. But unsure which one. I'm looking for some decent wheel speed. enough for trailing but also would like to maybe run the rig in a comp here and there for shits and grins.

So which kv? I wouldn't mind having some good topend speed available, but do want good low speed control. also trying to keep weight down so will likely pair it with the Holmes V2 Mini. Though the biggest selling point for me is how quiet it is. Though I could maybe go with the Teken RX4/8 esc and stay as quiet, but I want to keep this light and small. considered a 2 in 1, but not over fond of them as if one has an issue, both are out of commission.

So which KV Revolver would you go for?
2200 and up seems like they would turn pretty fast. more than I think I'd need/want. seems the 1000kv may be a bit low for top end speed.
But Im green wtih Homles gear and need some edumacation.

1000kv is very slow but super low speed control. 2200kv should be fast enough for trailing.

Ya, I figured the higher KVs would be way too much wheel speed, though I have a 3300kv AXE rig that isn't really all that fast on top end in my SSD TK rig. So maybe the higher KV motors aren't out of the option list so long as they have good low speed control, which is what I am after most on this rig.

I run a 1800kv in one rig, and the 2500kv in two others. Depending on the transmission and axles you are using, any of the higher kv ones would work. Where I crawl, there are a couple of places where you need some wheel speed and using the 2500lv with a 2.low trans was still too slow. A swap over to a Dlux portal trans made the difference I needed.

But if I want to spend another 400ish, I can get 61 off on the rest of the gear I want to buy. At this point, Im the top half awaw from a custom rig. lol
May just buy a Metal Cage (or build one....) and put the rest of the upgrade shit I have on that and leave my bomber mostly stock. lol

I've got a Mamba X and 3500 PP in my 4-10 Ultra, with a Copperhead and a 3500 PP in my Phoenix, and a Mamba X and a 2200 PP Stubby that was in my Sherpa. It's a great combo, with plenty of wheel speed!

i just finished my hh sherpa build with F10's running mamba x and classic revolver 540L 1450 and is buttery smooth on low speed control but given F10's are portals my top speed is slow... great punch and precision control. I am running a 9t pinion though I guess I can play with the 10t, 11t and 12t to see if I can pick up some top end ... although is got really good punch and I like the creep.
