Picked up a Cross Rc Xt4. Going to be a fun build. Will be a slower build over the winter months. Getting ideas on what direction I want to go with it. ![]() |

Excellent - my crawlin' buddy recently got one as well - he did a fantastic job on a Cross Demon with the hard body cab, tubular doors, and caged back already. They have potential! |

Those are seriously good looking trucks, surprised I haven't seen more around. Looking forward to seeing it come together.

How do these stack up against the more common trail trucks like Axial and Traxxas?

They're a bit more delicate, but also more scale. If you order replacement or upgrade parts direct from Cross, they're surprisingly affordable. Obviously, not gonna find them hanging on the hooks of your local LHS. This is a link to his Cross Demon: 1.9 scale rig picture archive - No talking |

Very cool, I've been eyeing these up. The detail in Cross's truck kits is excellent and I've seen these selling for $379 USD, which seems like a great value for what you get. I don't have a place right now to do all the extensive painting required, otherwise I would have pulled trigger. Great winter project, enjoy the build!

This is where CrossRC got the idea from if you didn't know. Last I heard the owner of Offroad Design is getting zero from CrossRC. ![]() This truck is pretty badass. It started life as a K30 and transformed into this. I have a lot of their stuff on my K1500 1 ton swapped GMC. |

Hell yeah. I have been looking at the XT4 since it came out. Unfortunately there is not much out there for build threads or info on it, so thank you for posting one. Curious to see where you go with it, and read your thoughts on the quality. Especially the axles and unlock-able diffs. For my driving style I really don’t care for the unlock-able diffs, especially if they are a hassle.

Did a little painting today. Went with Tamiya Deep Metallic Blue. Hood needs another coat or two and the cab needs a couple spots touched up but ran out of paint. LOL. Got the interior and under the rear section sprayed flat black also. Now to start doing all the smaller stuff and accent items. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The color doesn't come through on the pics well. But it's definitely a deep metallic blue. Looks way better in the sun. Thanks. I got if from the Cross Rc website. | |

Damn that body looks great, love the color! I’m gonna have to buy one of these. IMO it’s one of the top kits on the market right now for scale appearance. |
