What an absolute beast. The design on the frame rails looks very cool.

Thanks! It's a Northwest Scaler Designs Scattergun V3 Chassis. I just got the new NWSD Vulture C3 chassis in the mail today. The owner, Corwin, makes some awesome stuff.

Thanks! They're Tattu 850mah 4s lipos. Great battery. I have a couple of their 450mah 4s batteries also.

Nice. I also run small 4s (HV) batteries in my crawlers (just 4s, not 8s though). Small, light, amd pack a punch. Mine are all either 1300mah or 1600mah. I'm surprised more people aren't running little drone batteries like this.
Can't see the motor, is it an outrunner?

The VFD twin trans hides the motor down in there pretty good. It’s a tekin412 1200kv sensored motor. Plenty of low rpm torque, with enough voltage to make it faster than it needs to be.

Here's a 450mah 4s battery in my CCW Ninja. ****in' adorable... haha.

450, 850, and 5200 4s batteries there for size comparison.

Are the 850 and 450 using an xt30? Any issues there?

Unimog is pretty sick man

Yeah, xt30's with 16 gauge wire in the series harness I made. It's a lot of voltage, but it's not pulling many amps. I took the fan off the 8s mamba. Esc and motor stay cool. If I went full throttle for an extended period of time, there might be an issue, but in general it just acts like a normal crawler. I've been running a regular mamba on 6s with xt30's in my gspeed for months with no issues.

Good to hear. I found some sweet little packs, but chickened out when they showed up with 16 gauge wire and xt30’s.

Ended up finding slightly bigger ones with xt60’s finally.

As long as you're not running it like a basher, I think xt30's are the best option for a crawler.

Got rained out of work today, so I swapped the rear vp capra for a vp 10.3, and did a Lockedup RC Dually Conversion. It was raining, so I didn't get outside to get decent pictures. I'll get it out on the rocks this weekend. Should be interesting.

Please....get that outside and get those new tires dirty to match the others. It's bothering my OCD!

Great job on the rig.
