Land rover Defender UPDATE 1

Hey guys,
well this is my second attempt at a scaler. My first did not really turn out that good but i have high hopes for this build. I am using a Diaz Dtrail 12 chassis with bruiser springs. HPI land rover shell with loads of scale accessories. Stealth transmission driving 1.9 moabs on stock car wheels. i plan on getting this complete this week so expect an update. If you have any suggestions or criticisms feel free to let me know. Now onto the pics:

Body was painted by USAtorque55. He did a great job, if you ever need something painted you should definitely contact him.

tbo i like it, the only thing is the body cos i think the lexan bodies dont really work but my stubornness not to use it is meaning i am having to get a kamtec shell, and adding the detail myself

that thing looks darn gosh nice! the only thing is if you mount the forest wires on the outside of the light and actually on the wing tops it would look perfect! but i may be being picky

Thanks man. I ran out of the right hardware to mount the rear axle. So frustrating seeing this half complete on my workbench.

That bumper looks sick! this is an amazing build!

renoirbud 07-18-2007 04:09 PM

hey there

If its a scale build, this is a Stage I Landrover (basically a Defender with leaf springs). It does look great.
