| LMAO Im looking forward to the build either way. You can always say you dropped an LT1 in it My 86 CJ has a 325 horse 355 in it, I think I could have towed some stuff, especially with the turbo 400 trans |

The only thing that bothers me about that body is that it is the Renegade edition. The rocker panels and quarters don't look right IMO, but trimming them makes the body tub look too short in height.

Well nothing too big just some more info. Beckworks can't wait for this next project! I picked up a set of 1.9 Claw Dawgs on HPI stock car wheels from yukon something or other on here. I will also be using an MFM Chassis w/ TLT shocks, R2 or pede tranny, TLT axles or Highlift axles, winch, and a bunch of scale stuff. Ill get pics as soon as I get some of the stuff in the mail. I also might be getting a scale FJ-40 (bushwacker) in a trade which I will use to tow the FJ tuber. Damn, my scale truck collection is growing again |

So I was able to finish up the YJ and take it to the GTG today. It is awesome and looks freakin great! Its top heavy and wants to flip while side hilling but other than that its really cool. I still have to install the winch servo, lights, and all the tubework(some of the body will need to be cut). Ive included pics of it with my buddies Jeep. Im running a Mamba-25 and Crawlmaster on 6 cells. I just took a few shots of it because I was too busy running the FJ and Jeep After these pics were taken I added some trail damage to the body.... |

Thanks dude! I was going to paint it olive drab but liked the matte black so much I just left it. Plus, it is easy to repaint when needed |

I kinda like the headlights, they grew on me once I saw them in person. Im still waiting on the claw dawgs. Yukon shipped them on 8/2 parcel post and its now 8/12 and I still don't have them :-( That is why I always use priority mail. Its not a huge deal, just sucks to have to wait so long. Ill be sure to post up new pics when they finally arrive. |
