Default Another K5 Blazer!

Ive lately seen a lot of Blazer builds here and finally decided to show mine. It has TLT axles, shocks (no springs) on a custom delrin/aluminum chassis. Im currently on the detailing/scale phase. The coolers are made of pill holders and look more real than a prvious one I recently showed. Im planning on a more detailed thread on this later in the week. For now Im using a Duratrax ESC. Preliminary tests have shown a great performance but Im still learning to drive this since the scale approach changes the perspective of things a lot. This are a few shots of it I rapidly took this evening. I will post more later.

Looks good, except for the tlt crash gaurd you got on there. Kinda looks like a pig snout! Your frame looks pretty similar to the K2-xx series, except its a lot wider, looks cool though. Neat idea using the tmax arm as a tire holder, put a real bumper on there and its golden. Good job,
Tom

Thanks for the comments! I will try to detail that TLT crash guard with a winch and some other tings to see if I could make it look more scale. The reason for that position is to improve the approaching angle. Im still debating if I would add a bumber or not. The way it is now improves the climbing angle also. Im waiting on a scale kayak to complete the accesories.

I'm sorry but that brush guard killed it, I say rip it off and don't look back. The rest of the truck looks damn good, but that brush guard

not only the tail lights are wrong, but the side marker lights are in the wrong position.

Thanks for the heads up guys! Ive fixed the errors you pointed out and got rid of the brush guard. I instead went for an aluminum bumper for a cleaner look. I also added more scale accessories in the back. What you say...do i still suck azz?? LOL!

You could mount a hi-lift jack on the bumper?
