Thumbs up First Scale Build (Rubicon, Scratch built frame)

I was walking through Walmart the other night and i noticed a 1/10th scale new bright jeep, i had been looking at the jeep body at hobbytown but was a bit pricey at $38 bucks. So i looked at the price on the rubicon at walmart and it was $20. so i bought it, and tore it apart, I built the frame out of Brass* and soldered it together with plumbing solder for strength, really strong, but heres what i have so far.

Nice man! Looking pretty good so far. You may want to add some bracing on that stinger though, one endo off a rock and it will bend! (Been there and done that one)

What are the rest of the specs on the rig( axles, tranny, wheels, etc) I like it so far. I think this is the same Jeep that my boys have. What is the Wheel Base?

ok...don't believe me... you will find out the hard way. I don't care what kind of solder it was solder is NOT strong enough for a crawler. unless you plan on keeping it on the shelf.

ok dude you had your room to speak your opinion the first time...
i've tested it and tired to break the welds and its not happening...
maybe what you did was wrong, but what i have so far is holding up just fine. I even soldered 2 pieces together and the weld held and the piece of brass bent...so im just sticking to my build.

But really thought everyone would like to see a build and maybe get some new ideas from it.

ok just to prove my point, heres my test, Results, the brass broke before the solder.

i soldered only one side and tried to break the weld...
the piece that is soldered is actully still together... the brass broke away first before the weld. pics to prove it.

now you see my weld is stronger than the actual brass...
also tell me how hollow brake line is stronger than the soild brass rod that im using???
