The plan was to build Badger a bumper as well. But we need to see how to mount it. We were thinking of a crawler/prerunner style.

I said "ask, if you wanna KNOW" Yes could build one for you. We can discuss some mods even before the building if you want. There are something I should do to improve it. Thicker vertical plates, counter sink side screws... Consider I built it to "look" good, the bars around the lights won't support a serious front hit without bendings. Problem is I'm busy like hell in this period, and I don't know when I could build it. If you have no hurry I'll contact you when I'll be ready to work for you It won't be cheap cause there's a LOT of manual work behind it ;) |

Thats sounds good. I really like the look of that one but of coarse am interested in a cralwer version and the fairlead REALLY sells me on it! I am not in a hurry either so when ever you are ready let me know. It's kind of hard to justify being "in a hurry" with rc cars. Thanks! |

I sanded down the body, primered it, then painted it with the Krylon Camo Flat Black. I still need to paint the door handles, badges, and side markers by hand. Now to the bed I added the scale diamond plate and a tool box made from the same aluminum diamond plate. I need to add 2 hinges to the tool box lid so that it is functional. I really like the flat black with the diamond plate for bling. I am still thinking about how to mount the diamond plate. Maybe 2mm button head screws or just some jb-weld on the bottom (I would remove the paint on the flat bed first where it will be jb-welded) Last edited by badger; 07-04-2005 at 01:23 PM. |

I love that diamond plate! Maybe I missed it, but is that the plastruct stuff like I used on the Scorpion? Looks like it's actual aluminum. Should stick some diamond plat on the walls of the bed as well. McMaster has 2mm button heads, would look great on there. Last edited by JasonInAugusta; 07-04-2005 at 01:40 PM. |

Thanks guys. JIA, yeah it's aluminum. I bought it at http://gardentrucking.com I don't think I am going to diamond plate the side walls of the bed. I like the off set of black and bling right now. Jason, This is what I was doing (trying to) when you were aimimg me last night. I need to change my aim id! Last edited by badger; 07-04-2005 at 02:07 PM. |
