After that I got to work. It is built out of 3/16's solid rod. This isn't a comp. rig so weight isn't an issue. What it is, is a full on abuse vehicle so strength is key. I want to use this as a tool to get some of my friends into crawling so I'm going to beat the hell out of it once its done.

Please give me some feedback sorry the pics aren't the greatest. This will probably be a slow build cause I work insane hours so time is hard to come by. LOL

Dude that is freaking awsome. I had someone call me this morning and tell me about it. I like what you are doing. Give me a call when you get a chance. You better go ahead and get ready to build another because I want that one. LOL. Great job dude.

Thanks

Thank-you so much for replying Dan I really appreciate hearing good things from the creator of such a beautiful machine. I wish I could build these is real life like you do but don't have the skill or knowledge!

Yoda thanx for your reply. I hope to see more replica's in the future, just don't forget to ask permission before you build it and always give credit to the original builder. As for how much a rig like Dans would cost, you can go to his webpage and look around, you will find prices as well as Dan's forum where you can ask questions and read up on all his creations! Link: http://www.bluetorchfab.com/

Thanx again and I will try to get another update soon. Have been real busy lately so time for the project is hard to come by!

Well got some more done. Mainly focused on the bigger pieces so its starting to look like a crawler. I will have to do all the little detail pieces yet but pretty much all the big ones are done! Am waiting for the tlt axles to show up before I make the link mounts and shock mounts. I will also be making a motor plate under the hood where the electric motor will be mounted! This will be hidden inside a scale 350 engine. Heres the new pics!!

As always feedback is welcome any concerns or criticism is welcome! Thanx

Maaaaaaaaaan Mike you are going to town on that thing! I probably have said this before about your tube work and others. However I shall say it again. It is stuff like that which I am truly envious. That is about the only thing I can't do, design and build something with tubing! You are really an artist. If you're really bored after you're done with that one you can start on mine

if you could rip them out you wold make a killing.. but with the amount time and work, it would be really hard to make a profit.... of coarse if you ever dicide to sell it... it would be a bidding war.... put it on ebay and watch the dogs fight.... again.. well done.

wow Thanx alot for all the kind words! I use a regular bender like on Roktoys site! I wish I could make everyone a frame but it takes way too long for me to make them. I also want to test this one out and make sure all my brazing holds. I was thinking of the whole ebay deal, LOL but really have my heart into this one. I have wanted a tube frame since I remember Doc Wildman and Dave Pack building replica tubers on RCMT and now I finally have one. Although there is still plenty to do, I have the axles now and am in the middle of building them. I will get started after this weekend. I'm going to raise some hell in Wisconsin at a friends wedding!

Thanx alot once again keep checking back for an update!!!
