| Thanx alot everyone for the nice comments!! I'm not too sure how much time I have in it! It is alot though as I'm a fussy person when it comes to smaller details! The front end is pretty much complete. I installed the R2 and outrunner and got all the driveshafts and links made, just have to finish up somesmall braces and a winch plate. I've started to work on the back now, and have shock hoops, one cross brace, and tabs for the shock mounts then it will be very close to being driveable. Mike |

I dont know if you could make this work, but what if instead of mounting the servo on the axles, you could make it a bit more scale and do a steering steup similar to an HPI Wheely King. It mounts the servo up on the chassis, out of site, and then runs links down to L shaped servo horns the can turn, and hook that up to the TLT steering links. That would be pretty cool, eh? It would look at little bit more scale. |

I can't believe this build has been going on for two years! I guess perfection takes time. This thing is super sick, like I said in an earlier post, I thought he had bought this from Boyer at first. Keep up the awesome work man, can't wait to see it finished

Hey everyone thanx alot for folowing along for 2+ yrs! I have to just make four shock tabs and it will be ready for a test run!!!! I will post pics once that is done. I then have some scale touches like gussets and a dash to add a little later. Hope to get some time to work on it this week!! As for the steering, I want to keep that aspect of the build simple and reliable as I will be putting 4 wheel steering in this rig. Electronics are: Mamba Max, Hyperion z3025, and probably 2 JR servos, controller is a JR R1 |
