Default goodbye landrover, hello jeep...

got tired of driving a rig I was afraid to roll so off came the hard plastic landrover body and after a little modding I have this...my favorite crawler yet!!! and this thing is a blast to wheel!

Very, very purdy fella
That chassis looks mad

Not sure if you miss your Land Rover, but there's a guy here (UK) that makes a LWB Defender, and also made a SWB Series shell

And a fair few Others

thanks for all the replies! I'm lovin it more every time I wheel it...made a rear bumper to match the front one and protect the rear shackles and exhaust...the bumpers are welded 3/16 steel rod and are VERY strong....don't let the leaf springs bother you too much...they are very reliable and work well.

and a few flex shots...nothing too impressive but it's designed to be realistic and so far it goes anywhere I point it.

nice touch with the 'steering stabilizer' shock. I like the little fake flowmaster-like mufflers on the 'exhaust' too. How did you get those 'tips'? Is there a fake engine under the battery pack in the front, it almost looks like it. Its the little stuff that counts.

what is that tranny? GD600 and maxx stuff or what? why 3 batteries?
