Default High speed trail and Pro Mud truck

01 Ford F150 (Super RS4)
cad designed chassis, cut on waterjet...
TLT axles... straight axle in rear with cvd's and wideners in the front giving a 1/2" track width difference front -rear
Trans :undecided
Tires/wheels: Imex Super Swamper knockoffs for trail, Panther Cobra for mud
Motor: Unsure...35t at this point.
Battery: 2s lipo (trail) 4s lipo (mud)

I think the front end may be a problem, when the chassis was cut it was ment to be a protruck and was setup for pede front end. I may have a new inner frame rail cut.

On to the bad build up pics:

I feel down on getting photo updates... I test drove the truck with a Traxxas slash motor (12t) and it was a blast. I upgraded to the brushless and promptly destroyed the gears... New gears are ready to go as soon as I can figure out where to mount a waterproof box.

As you can see I went to a new design for the inner frame. Its also now cut from 1/8" instead of 1/16"

With the Brushed motor I was still able to use it as a crawler... I think this Brushless will Cog too much at low speed.

Not a BIT of flex in the chassis... Ive designed a few so I have it pretty well figured out. With 2 cell lipo it only does about 20mph tops but it will pull the front wheels off the ground even in mud.

I farm it out, I have a guy that does my production work for me and he usually cuts me a good deal when I need something like this, I just throw it in with a job I am having him do.

Sorry I havent had any updates, I have been spending my free time getting the AX10 BTA's up and going, now that that job is done hopefully I can get back to my builds.

gee I wonder why??? Too bad it wouldnt work as a mud truck. I had to go back to the drawing board and redo all the inner frame. Figuring out a way to get the front suspension mounted and remain uner the body was a pain.
