Wrecker's 2.2 Wreckluse Well after many months of waiting to get this chassis into production I finally have one back in my hands. This one is going to be my performance oriented build while my 1.9 Wreckluse will be my more scale oriented build, but that will be a much slower build that might not start for a little longer. Since I'm also in the process of building a berg, this chassis got everything from my SW3 Axial comp rig. So it will definitely be stout and extremely capable. Here are the specs, Production Wreckluse chassis HPI Rubi hood/grill Axial Axles with all of the RCP goodies MSD wheels with Mayhem rings M2 Flat Iron tires Duratrax 4" shocks (still undecided) Axial tranny with VF dig and 645 servo 35t Integy Motor 3S lipo/3S A123/4S A123 betteries (still undecided) 985MG Servo Here is it quickly mocked up so I could drive it on the couch. The dig servo needs to be mounted somewhere else so I can get the interior stuff in and hide all of the electronics. Sorry for the crappy pics. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3.../081022005.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3.../081022006.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3.../081022007.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3.../081022008.jpg |
beautiful, i really need to get one of these things. |
damn,,this is tuff..great stance are you doin a full interior? |
Was waiting for this thread. I'm in the process of making templates for the interior of mine. |
Thanks for the compliments guys! I plan to do some interior work on this one, but the 1.9er will be my focus on the really scale stuff. This will probably just end up with 2 Recaro seats and a dash kit from RPP. Until I get the dig servo moved there isn't room for anything though. |
Since I know this question is going to come up, I plan on painting the body white and having everything else blacked out, ...like I am doing on my 1:1 Super Duty.8) |
Nice! Like the Flatirons on there. Looking forward to more updates!"thumbsup" |
Nice job! Cant wait to get mine. 2.2 flatirons are perfect. |
YOu should do all the body panels white but black out the hood. :D "thumbsup" Looking good so far! http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...doubleduty.jpg |

Looking really good Wrecker LOVE this chassi you designed, and THANK YOU!!!! |
Um yes... I ment grill... I was thinking grill but my stupid finger typed hood. :D :ror: |
Thanks guys! I'm really glad you guys like the chassis. I can't wait to see all of the build threads start to pop up. For the hood/grill I am painting it white with the center raised portion of the hood in flat black, like the prototype chassis in my avatar."thumbsup" |
Looks good. Try some claws on it. |

Sweet looking truck I love mine (drove it for 5 minutes and my FXR went up in smoke:shock:) and the stinger is freaking sweet we should have like an all wreckluse GTG. |
Great looking rig Wrecker it's got a great stance and looks extremely capable foe show. It will be nice to see more pics as she completes. |
Lets see some more progress pics Wrecker! |

An all Wreckluse gtg would be pretty cool, the 1:1's used to that in Moab. Quote:

Got it painted. Still need some RCP stickers for the sides and some detail work. I also got the front inner fenders done and the paint is drying on the rear inner fenders and rear interior panel. I used .03" styrene for all the additional panel work. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3.../081027003.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3.../081027002.jpg |
