Default Wreck-loose

Here's the start of my RCP weckluse. I've had it mocked up for some time. Got somemore parts in & decided to tear it down.

Starting point.

Got some seats from SAC Racing

TJ grill from TSS. This one is AL & won't work for me. He's cutting a steel one that'll work.

Need help here.......

This

Or this

About time you started this.
Either winch would look good.I'll be using the MSD winch.
I can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve for this.

Yeah, I'm a lucky guy. Only 3 sets were made. Gonna go with the MSD winch for sure, that thing just looks so much tougher than the other. I'm pretty sure it's like 10 times stronger too.

I have a dilemma. I was going to weld in the winch/servo plate today. I have not drilled the holes to mount the winch yet. Should I wait untill I do that before welding it in? If I wait, I can use my drill press & it would be more accurate. If I weld it, I'd have to use a hand drill, less accurate..........

Personally,I would wait. It's what's been holding up my build but,I think it will be worth it in the end.
How tight is the fit on the plate?

I'll probably wait, but man, I'm itchin' to build something. I haven't built any crawlers for awhile.

I wish everything fit that tight. Know what I mean.
