if you want a hand on the truefire paint job, check out cfxpaintworks, they have a couple and there's one on youtube somewear

i wrote the original howto is a little complicated and my thoughts arnt layed out well, but if you can sort through it there is some good enough i didnt hold back any secrets

when you'r laysing down your colors just figure your flame licks to be a pyramid of colors, white and sharp at the top deap and faded red at the bottom working white first yellow orange red in that process

if you had difficulty laying down these flames and or have trouble with freehanding id recomend that you hold off on this technique till your a little more comfortable with airbrushing and color theory.

there are easyer ways to do it that dont look as good but you can always shoot a one color stencil and have it turn out semi decent but "true fre" needs colors highlights and a good amount of practice to get right. use alot of refferance and break it down by colors and layers and then paint it from the top layer down for r/c that is, usually its bottom up lol

good luck and this cralwer look pretty good the orange and purple seem like a pretty good match, next time try some pin striping and drop shadows for a killer 3D pop out effect
