|  Toyota Truggy trail rig Well I was gonna wait and post up the truck when it's done but I'm getting stoked about the project. So here are the stats. - Custom truggy frame(I was going to cut up a bruiser frame but nah) It'll look like a pick up frame up front and the back is all tube. - Mountainer cab with an exo - TLT axles locked of course - Rooster ESC - S3305 servo - Swamp Dawg tires for show and Moabs for GO! - 4 link front and rear with 4" shocks most likely - 12" WB roughly - pede tranny - either a lathe motor geared really low like it's gots dual cases or a MM On to the pics      Now some of the things I'm unsure of are running the grill and fenders or doing a cut job like this http://www.norcalttora.com/~anthony/...R1-042-19A.jpg Also should I do an exo with the interior or a incab cage with the interior? | Gotta say its looking really good so far. Cant wait to see the finished produst. I say keep the bumper and grill but trim the little lip a.k.a fender flares off the fenders. I would also do an exo cage with the interior. It would keep with a really scale look. Keep up the good work. I subscribed to this thread. |

| I agree with the in-cab cage. I have never been a huge fan of exo cages, but its your truck, do what you think would look good. |

| An incab cage would be alot easier to work with as with an exo cage you will have to do some major design work to get the body to be able to come off and put back on without having putting either hinged tubes or any other form of removable tobes to take to body on and off. But if you pull off the exo cage, it would serve as protection for the body. I know you plan on getting that cab looking really nice so why not do everything possible to keep it looking nice? But these are just my 2 cents, do as you wish, after all, it is your rig.  |

| Thanks guys, I have some ideas for making the exo come off with the body. I'm think of doing a 1/8" piece inside the 1/4" tube and drill them to accept a body clip. Just an ida it may not work. |

| For the mountaineer glass instead of paying $45 for a reproduction just get a sheet of lexan from tower. Then cut out your windows and glue them inside the cab. A sheet is like $7 . Someone did this on another forum and I tried it seems to work good & you don't have to worry about wrecking the expensive ones. |

|  Thanks Rckjeep, you beat me to the thread. Just when I thought I was gonna post something new with a toyota cab, you bust out the total bad azz build. Nice work, can't wait to see it done and running. BTW, my flatbed looks awesome and you are truly and scale artist with the small metals. |

| so what color should I paint it? Cab/frame: OD green/OD green, John Deere green/yellow, blue/grey???? Should I do a tube bumper crawler style or a box bumper trail style? |
