Default madmaxxed and wreckluse...

i've been working on this build for a few weeks here and there. i had my first run with styrene modeling. pretty neat stuff. i went with a basic set up for the interior with just a back panel, riser pad for the seats, center console, front & rear inner fender wells. the floor panels going to the front made for some great mounting plates for my rx and esc. i'm running a sidewinder esc, futaba radio system, venom 50t motor with 19t pinion. it's been back and forth between 1.9 and 2.2. i originally built it to be a 1.9er but finally opted for new 2.2 slingers soft on proline 8 shooter wheels. i stretched out the links slightly and was happy with the overall appearance of wheelbase. i also went back to the traditional 3 link set up in the front to avoid any interference with the steering set up.

these are some shots taken from a few weeks back. i had a green rubi body laying around so i stripped the hood from it. the blue paint on the body panels easily flaked off to allow me to go green. i finished up my driver as well. since these pics were taken i have added a msd fairlead and new winch hook. the bracelet clasp hook just wasn't cutting it...

thank you very much. he appears to be just a bit too small to me for some reason. i don't know if the head is out of proportion. maybe he could have sat a little higher up. i ca glued the arms to the exact reach of the steering wheel. i then drilled and tapped through them and installed 3mm screws for added security of the head and arms. then filled in all the holes and gaps with some modeling putty. i thank you for your help siggy...

I think he looks just right......I think we are all used to seeing the Super Musclebound drivers, that when a normal driver gets behind the wheel they look small.

Truck looks great too!!
