Default Tuber FOFR crawler

Well I finally decided to post up the tuber I am building.
I wanted a multi purpose vehicle, (crawler, basher, mud, sand, climber) but I am pretty tired of independant suspension rcs, so I decided to get some Axial axles and started brazing away.

Though this isnt supposed to be a copy of any vehicle, it has some features from the Avalanche Engineering Sniper, I always liked those buggies. Well what I have so far is Axial Axles, Emaxx Trans (will be wide 2 speed) Savage shocks. Have started working on the chassis mounted steering thanks to Hand Bros axle bracket. Was planning on this running a brushless probably MM system on 3s, but atm I am planning a new scaler build as this one lost most of the interior space due to the maxx trans:-(. Anyway here are the pics.

I am hoping to have it set up sitting low. I have the rear shock installed but the current setup on them is not good, I think I will need to put droop springs in them and get a lot softer springs. I'm gonna be using some old HPI MT shocks in the front, but havent really thought out the mounts yet.

Dude I hear ya Im almost finish my build and having to strip that crap off was a major PITA. The last rod I bought was just the standard stuff. 10 seconds of sanding and the whole rod was ready for brazing. Live and learn.

Nice build by the way...kinda looks like a CORR truck.

Hehe yea, I hate that coating. I need to order it in bulk, because all the parts stores around me only stock the coated stuff. Luckily I am out of brake line so im gonna check into some other sources, I'm gonna see if I can find some hydraulic DOM tubing I've seen a couple people use, it bends better and looks a lot smoother.
