PinchFlat's Wreckluse - The Hatredcrawler Alright... Time for a 2.2 scale rig again. It has been almost 2 years since I built and ran 2.2 scale rig. You may remember the CT2000 (silver flat fender full tubed D90) I ran at MT Scale Nats 2 years ago. Well I got hold of a Wreckluse chassis and got it all built up to a roller. The wheels & tires are temp for mock up but I am sticking with the flat black paint & grey chassis. Perfect colors for The Hatredcrawler What I have planned for The Hatredcrawler: Murdered out flat black body panels over flat grey tube work RC4WD Spooky Krawler tires (waiting...) 2.2 Proline Titus black on black bead-lock Wheels Axial axles Heavy duty lockers & HD ring & pinions Losi crawler shocks (blah!) Handwound 35t motor Tekin FXR & CC BEC MaxAmps 11.1v lipo (not sure which exactly maybe the 2200 3S 11.1V 50c or the 3250 3S 11.1V I'm wanting some PUNCH!) Hitec 333oz. robotic steering servo Some kind of winch with a RC4WD King Kong small hook fed through a MSD fairlead (maybe just a servo winch hidden under the hood - easy & effective) Head & tail lights & maybe some rock lights Full interior Wild Willy Driver (maybe - thinking of painting up a WW driver gives me a nose bleed. I do have one of those douche bag wrestler guys I can use also) Various aluminum axle parts Check it out the roller so far. Last edited by PinchFlat; 10-18-2009 at 12:29 AM.

Call it Hateraid. I will have to do what I can to make sure and hold any order you put in for tires. Your special set may not be done for a while. Long while.

I had just grabbed old beat up links I had laying around when I threw this together and it ended up with a 13"+ wheelbase so with some trimming I did bring it down to just under 12.5". Eventually I'll probably make or buy all new links for it. I have the panels all pained flat black. Wheels, seats, motor & some MIP drivelines are coming. Then I'll only be waiting on tires (Spooky Krawlers) but I will get it running before then. I have some hardly used Mashers that have been sitting around in my parts pile that I will throw on until the Spooky tires come out. | |

I received some parts in the mail yesterday ( Thanks Kevin - TCS Crawlers ) so I was able to do a little work last night. I only had a little bit of time (family party) so I installed the MIP CVD Drivelines & mounted up my old Mashers (temporary) on the new Pro-Line Titus wheels. I was also able sprayed the last coat of Flat black on the body panels. Which, BTW, are aluminum, not lexan, about the thickness of an aluminum can so it will look sweet when it gets all dented and scratched. Or maybe it will look stupid so I also painted up the lexan panels too. Oh thought I try out the RCGuy black ABS seats...

OK got some interior work done... It's simple but I like it. Willy is a PITA to paint up. But got him, his steering wheel & shifter all painted up. Still have the gauges to do and some touch up painting.
