Default Beckworks 2.2 for UTRCRC Adventure VI

I have absolutely loved my Beckworks Toyota I've had for a couple of years and have always hoped to be lucky enough to pick up another one and last week I had a serious stroke of luck! Thanks 4xFord!

I'm going to build this up for the UTRCRC Adventure VI and for the Montana Scale Nationals. I want it low and mean! I'm planning on running 2.5" of clearance with 2.2 Rok Lox with a 13" wheelbase. To get it that low I'm going to have to run a pretty wide front though, about 10.75-11". It's wider than I'm used to but I think it will be worth it for the look.

Scalers have to look good and perform just as well for me to like them and this thing should perform when I'm done with it.

Onto the specs
Beckworks Custom chassis
Interior
Axial axles, loaded!
MIP Driveshafts, hopefully
RC4WD Planetary Transmission to Killer Transfer Case.
Create-a-Crawler 2.2 EZ-Locs
RC4WD 2.2 Rok Lox with Nova's Ark foams
Tekin FX-R
35t Handwound Motor
Thunder Power 3s Lipo
JR8711 Servo, I'm going to need it to steer this beast!
Castle BEC
I'm torn between a RC4WD Bulldog Winch or a Winch Servo.

Here's a couple teaser pics. It looks like I'm moving this weekend or the beginning of next week so I doubt that I will get that much done for a little while:?

OMG you didn't tell me it was THAT one, wow, now I am really jealous. So you gonna be rockin' two beckworks in 2010? yota 1.9 and jeep? Being that you were the overall champion this year, you might have a little O on your back

I've been working on it tonight and it's going along well. I really want to keep the stance low but I'm going to have to see how it goes. With the way it's made I can't have it low and have much articulation. Right now it's only about 2.5" or so Anyone know of any good performing 80mm shocks?

I guess I could run droop but I don't like the way it reacts. I could get it really low though

Progress. Mock up wheels and tires only. I'm running Traxxas Long (90mm) shocks with internal and external shocks. The first pic is all the articulation I'm getting Just not enough. I'm going to pick up some other shocks to try tomorrow though.

It's right at 13" right now. I need to shorten the front links about 1/4" and lengthen the rears.

It's even lower now with much better articulation. I can't wait to go run these.

Well some goodies came in and I got a little bit of work done. The Create-a-Crawler EZ-Loc wheels showed up and the RC4WD Killer Transfer case and Planetary gear set.

I know the pictures are terrible but it's a long story and I had to use a Go-Pro video camera for them and it's the best I'm going to get right now
