Default tube chassis rock racer

well my rr is finally coming to life, it is sporting a axial trans and axles, custom tube chassis and a set if 2.2 rock crushers. I finished the links last night and when i got home from work today i mounted the shocks. I was looking at it sitting on my work bench and just had to play with it so i threw some electronics in it and remembered i still had to come up with a servo mount so i locked the linkage to the axle case so i could see how fast it was going to be. I had a stock tamyia silver can with a 19t pinion and a 87t spurr an a 4700 stick pack and it was ok so i decided to push the tamyia esc and throw a 3s 2100 lipo pack on it, much better it was moving. I think it was just the right speed because i broke sh*t well the rr was a blast to drive and i could only go in a straight line, cant wait until i get the servo mounted up. Please keep in mind that it is still in mock up stage the shocks are rigged up till i can fab up some brackets, well here are some pics what you think?

Looks good, nice tube work,

If you want an opinion i would have went with some shorter shocks to bring your front hoops down but thats my .02.

rock racers are all about having lots of soft suspension travel, the front hoops on mine come up pretty high too but its worth it. looking good aggressive, you're right those tires are huge!

any update pics? how are the suspension mounts you say you refabb'd them? they lookd a little off. I had a problem mounting the four link's on my chassi, and i decided to drill through the rod instead of using a flimsy piece of sheet metal. check my rig out tell me what you think
