I'm really interested in this:

http://www.rc4wdstore.com/2/product_...roducts_id=909

It is expensive but I want one! I have a bonus coming on December 5th, so I get to spoil myself a bit with a new rig.

If there is anyone out there who has this truck, please let me know what you think. My only reservation in buying is placement of the ESC and battery....I don't know where they are supposed to go. I would hate to ruin the appearance by having them visible when the truck is ready to roll!

this is the first iv seen of this rig!! it looks awesome... i would think if you were to run a lipo battery you could put it under the hood and it looks like maybe theres room in the tranny hump?

either way...
now i want one!!

keep us posted if you pick this thing up!!

Thats a good question! Suppsoedly the hood is welded on, but Im sure there is plenty of room in it. It appears to be rather huge. If you can wait a couple of weeks I will have one.
I'll do a full write up when I get it.

Oh no, you're not getting one before me! You've got enough cool toys.

J/K. With my luck the wife who came back will find out that I'm expecting money and spend it on somethin' foolish.....like Christmas presents for other people! :?

I'm looking to build a scaler and love this build. Would you be able to give me an idea of what you have into it so far.

Well, I haven't gotten it yet, but it comes pre-built with everything other than electronics. Since I am going to be spending quite a bit on the truck itself, I want to install a Novak Goat brushless system, 3S2P LiPo battery and I need to figure out which servo will be best. I figure on it costing a little over a grand, total, but that is really not that expensive considering that I have surely put that much money in my AX10 over the last 8 or 9 months. This is just all at one time.

Yeah, i'm seriously considering this thing too, but only the chassis. I'm also wondering where to put the battery. looks like there's some room under the back, but i'd rather have the battery up front...
I'm looking forward to hear more about your findings.

I think considering how heavy this rig is (9.5lbs.) a little 3oz. lipo should not be critical in the weight area. Now if your thinking of running a NImh pack, that might be a different story... We will see.
