I normally lurk in threads where I dont have tech to add, but that is one very sweet rig you are building. I really dig the design.

If you want a dually body the pro-line f-650 has them molded on already.

I actually bought the F-650 body first, because it looks better IMO. But it looked too small as a tow rig for the CJ8 body on my comp 2.2 rig. This body is quite a bit bigger then the F-650 body.

I snapped a few pics of the F-150 body with the CJ8 in tow for size comparison.

I dyed the rims black, because the chrome doesn't really cover the back of the rim. I bought another set of 24 Series rims and the chrome covers the back on the new set pretty good. So now I'm not sure which way to go, I may end up sandblasting the wheels and spraying them flat black.

Yeah, I snapped an axle housing on my 2.2 comp rig, so I robbed an axle off this rig.

Looking good Bender, You never cease to amaze me with the stuff you come up with. I just got a 1/6 Int Cxt from wally world, clearence sale $25 ! I couldn't pass it up. I figured I could convert it to 4wd with some tlt axles and build a custom aluminum trailer to haul my CJ comp rig. we'll see how it looks first.

LMAO @ badger!!

Thanks for the compliments guys.

I'm getting ready to put an order in for leaf springs, as well as a few other things. I just got started on painting the body. I still need to design the frame and figure out the suspension set-up. So, it'll be a while before it's rolling.

It definitly looks like a cool design, I realy like how ya did the wheels, but an F150 dually? Won't be very accurate. Maybe find an F350 for it. Just M/O.

I been thinkin about buyin a newbright F650 or F350 for a tow rig but then I'd need a trailor.

trailers are really easy to make as long as you dont go into a lot of detail. i could even give you a drawing on how to make one.
