Default Old school Honcho truggy build

Well this is my first scaler starting with a SCX-10 after puting the the kit to gether i streched the wheel base to 12.250 and made a rear axle truss to four link the rear then added the RC4WD outcroppers now that the suspension is where i want it i am going to cut the frame at the rear upper link mounts and tube the back half build some sliders and bumbers. More to come i will post more pics as the buid goes on.

Well it is finaly looking like a truggy, i cut the frame and made the side peices that the frame is welded to i left it one peice so that it wood hold the correct out side dimesions so i could take out the skid and not burn it up. I am going to build every thing off of it sliders rear window hoop ect. i moved the rear shock hoops forward so i could use them for body mounts. here are some pics.

I hate to copy your axle truss but when you see something you like you either buy it or build it 75% of the time i will build it.

Looks great. Not only did you use the body that I originally wanted, but you even used the color that I ended up using on my rig. Nice metal work. That's where I'm at and nervous about it. Patients isn't always one of my virtues.

I used .032 aluminum and bolted it to the cab, to fill mine in.

You could also tig some nuts to the tube and screw it on.
