Thanks! Well, it just seemed to be the right thing to do, given how much I enjoy go-fast and scale, and considering how fun the last Summit tranny scaler was. Add to that the King of the Hammers/ Rock Racing trend in crawling, and it just came together! I like to build different stuff...

Knowing my driving, it'll probably break! As long as I get it on video... ;)

Thanks!

More work:

Rear axle

As much as I liked the look of the Proline Powerstroke shocks, these XXL Traxxas bigbores give it nearly perfect travel- much more than the others.

rear axle flexing:

The front Skid:

Here's the headlight bracket and winchline tube:

That's it for now, more tomorrow...

This truck is looking so cool. Very out of the box for a crawler. I want a side shot.

We need more.

So very wicked. So who is your divorce lawyer and do you mind if I call him?! Keep up the good work! This should be awesome. What motor are you going to run in this monster?

This build is awesome ,great job. I love the look you are going for . One question it may have been posted and I missed it but what is the gear ratio in each axle ? Are they the same or can you get gears to change them ?

Looks great, stupid question though, are the rear shocks mounted, if so, how. in the photos, they dont look like they would do any good. keep the updates coming.

My divorce lawyer is a 'she', and I'm sleeping with her. It's getting a Tekin 10.5 Redline RS Sensored system.

The ratios are very close between the E-revo diff and the standrad Axial Axle. The front will be over-driven a hair...

rear shocks arent mounted, and they wont be traxxas big bores. I have some Long hot racing shocks to mount.

I'll be making a TON of progress tomorrow (day off!) so check back!

Thanks.
Ryan

They are Hot RAcing wideners. I kept the rear axle about .7" narrower than the front to help easing through gates...
