Default HotRodCJ Ford F100 scale buildup

I am starting a new scale rig for HotRodCJ. I will start it and he will finish it. It will be based on the proline Ford F100 body. It will be built as a crawler/trail truck. Should be cool. Here are some of the specs.

Proline Ford F100 body
TLT axles
2.2 Geolanders
Maxx shocks
Revo links
Pede tranny
Brando built chassis and brackets
Bed mounted spare tire

Here are the pics.

I used G-hawgs for mockup balony skins. Plans are to run Geolanders. Last pic is to show difference in tire size. HotRod wants the option to run different size tires. Should be able to use larger tires like Moabs without fender cutting. Maybe some All-t's but your going to need the scissors. Plans are for shock mounts with adjustability. To allow for tire and ride height changes.

Tomorrow will head to Napa for some tube. They always look at me funny when I empty there supply of 3/16 brake line. I tell them I am building a time machine in my garage.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words. I learn a little more each time I build one. With this one I made mounts with a lot more options for mounting links. The transmision is also about 1/4" lower in the chassis. I am trying to keep the scale look. But also make it work better out on the trail and rocks.

Well got a little done today. My morning was blow chasing parts and materials. But I got some tubes bent up this afternoon. The main part of the cage is made. These are the hardest ones to do. It is tough getting those tubes to fit up inside the cab. Came out pretty darn good.

I got my Geolanders in the mail yesterday. So I picked up some wheels when I was out today. I think these tires fit the scale look perfectly. The wheels add a little bling. Here is a mockup pic with the Geolanders. If you look closely you can see the cage fit snuggly inside the cab.

Looks preety cool. If i keep reading all your buildup threads, ill have to keep building more trucks, today i already started thinking abou tmy 3rd truck and i hade to force my self to stop because then when i get my driving license i wont have enough money to get a truck
I just got the bronco you built going in my room, but it still needs a few more small things.

By the way thats a nice truck you got in the back ground.
