and the rest of the shizzle, thinking of having alot of droop not much compression

No flaming required, it looks cool. Nice job on the chassis. It'll look extra cool with the body a touch lower. Cant wait to see it all muddy!

thanks, I am nervous cutting the wheel wells larger, afraid I'll hack it
it will be lower, kinda hard getting the right ride height with the roll of duct tape and a stadium truck tire body mounting system!

Use Geolander tires and you won't have to cut the wheel wells so much.

I like it, Geolandars will really set it off. I thought the chassis was JB welded till I saw the bolts!

very nice looks very cool....I do have a question thought, with the shocks mounted straight up do you lose or gain anything?

It does have jbweld on the angle cuts to make it look like a bend.
once it gets painted hopefully it won't look so hack

I like it! Geolanders should fit it real nice, or maybe some losi smashers which also look good on scale trucks.

The angle of your shocks determines how soft the suspension "feels". The more angled the shocks are, the more effect the axle has on the shock. So while the shock/spring combo doesn't change, the more angle results in a softer shock. Having the stock (soft) springs straight up and down, should allow them to be adequate in supporting the truck, since they generally can't hold up the weight of the scale trucks.

which for a scale rig is actually good, allowing more down than up travel, like most 1:1, and the way i like my 1:1's set up

that is exactly what I was going for, just didn't know it would work out so easily.
I will have to maybe cut a couple coils out of the tlt springs to get it to sag a little more for a lower ride height.
does anyone know of a softer spring than the tlt that will fit on these shock bodies? Maybe a rc18 or mini t?
You guys should quit with the compliments, I'm getting all moist over here.
