The shock hoops look funny because the shocks are really long for this truck... I build around whats available and what Barry wants! Someone needs to make some shocks that look scale and actually work.

OK, so I made a few tweaks and added a few nuts and tabs per Barry's requests. Soon it should be on its way to a place I have never been but hope to visit one day!

I found out that one part of the cage might have interfered with the rear drive shaft, so I added a hoop for clearance:

Sweet love Moab pics, is the one of the the 2 flatties the " dumb jeep, dork jeep, door jeep", dj build for the magazine. i had a 45mb when that article ran, one of my favorite pieces. I just finished a scale alum. flatty, need to by a star to post pics.

Agreed and maybe connect them to the rear cage.

Rear tube work needs some triangulation / support tubes thrown at it as well.. Just a thought
