How much travel is the truck going to have? i am building a truck with a f-100 body, it has 3" of travel right now using the stock chassis, and i still plan n building a tube frame for it.

anything with a tube frame is cool by me. im more of a scale person, though. im not really a moon buggy person. there cool and all in real life, but their just not practical. this chevy should come out cool, if its like the f-100 this guy did. just keep the paint simple. i hate it when they build a cool truck and do some whack paint job.

thats nice looking! it got me to order a new chevy body to replace my last one that i hacked up pretty bad! i was just curious how the body mounts work. are they just normal screws that thread into a nut, or is it like a 1/4 turn fastener? im in awe every time i look at one of your buildups!

Thanks for the compliment. The body mounts are just nuts brazed to sheetmetal. I use the Tamiya flanged nuts that come with the kits. Then you just use a regular M3 screw. I do this first so I can fit the cage tubing. It is easier to fit the tubes without the body moving around.

Ya it's becoming a job. I guess I can't complain since I am unemployed. No time to look for a job when your busy building chassis.
