Default Bo Diddley:Another Euro trials truck.

After seeing badgers trials truck up close, i new right then i had to build one. Luckily that same day i was getting my new TLT kit shortly, thanks badger

I cant wait till this is done! and i can crawl with badger and the rest of the norcalers, which i dont get to often do.

I won this bruder off of ebay about a week & 1/2 ago, not quit as detailed as badgers but for 20 bucks i could'nt resist. Today started on the chassis and cutting up the bruder.

the specs and design on this will be much like badgers. I dont think you can build one any nicer or better then what badger did.

TLT axles-Coil springs and unsprung shocks.
4link
pede or TXT tranny not sure yet,W/55t lathe.
12" WB
2.2's
rooster
behind the axle steering.
aluminum exo

heres some pics.

:the ride height will be a tad lower than that.

Very cool, I like this syle truck. I may have to build one of my own. I think that may have been the same body I was loking at on Ebay. To many bodies and not enough time to put chassis under them.

Kind of easy for you to find one....

Nice to see more of these getting out there - they are a blast to drive.

Any plans on a winch?? I have been thinking about one but just have not gotten around to it.

I picked up a Bruder Unimog body to test out and it was alot smaller than the MAN cab so not sure if it will still work/look the same on the chassis I already have.

This one:

What ED is referring to is that I was blessed with luck and being able to buy the first one of these that pinch flat built, I got it from nitrorc ed, I am happy to say that I have the one that started it all, it is a blast to drive.

Thanks everyone,

Nitrom rc ED.......I do have plans for a winch, those unimogs are sick. Kinda wish i got one of those too, never saw one:? , theres always next time

BrandO, were you cbwall on ebay?

A slight up-date,

I started on a custom tranny last night, so far its a major pain in the ***!!. But now that its started, im gonna finish it,damnit!!!!! . I have no idea what torq numbers it will be putting out. Im totally wing'ing it on this, if it sucks it'll look great on top of my TV. I wanted it to be a 32-pitch tranny that way i could run some 9t pinions. Its made out of my spare txt tranny gears,a 10t pinion gear, some steel rod,1/8" all-thread, JB weld and some ABS plastic .

i'll have some pics up later

Looks cool, I've been wanting to do one and my LHS is carrying the bruder products. I can get it cheaper there and not have to pay shipping, which is good.

hey.

i have not had much time to work on this, but i got a little done.

I bent up an aluminum roll bar,and made some lower links out of stock clod control arms. They fit the look to me of the trials truck, plus they've been sitting around for 5 years!
