Default My first attempt at building a rig.

I bought a newbright JK on an Axial SCX-10 frame from a guy here in town that wasn't in the greatest shape. So I tore it apart (after a really bad attempt at painting it), and ordered a Wreckluse chassis. Got it in Tuesday and I've spent every spare minute here at my shop putting it all together. I am very impressed how it came out, since I've always liked the look of the low COG tubers and that is what I was going for, and to somewhat resemble my 1:1 Rubicon. I still need to do something on the hood to break all the white up. I put a very light coat of pearl white then sprint white then backed it in black. All of the black panels are metallic black, and I even fabbed up some inner fenders that I think came out pretty good for a first timer, and since I own an auto glass company I had to make a windshield for it. I will work on the interior as I have time and figure out what to do with it. I'll post some pics of my 1:1 tonight for comparision but for now here's my new crawler.

Gonna try to bring it for a shakedown run this afternoon. Wife's got the camera this morning taking bridal pictures for a friend. For now here it is with my 1:1.

Very nice! I got bit by the Wreckluse bug also . No question, they're really nice rigs. What tires are you running on yours?
