Default Courier scale build, Unimoger/ Brando

Inspired by all the scale builds recently, Brando and I teamed up to build a Rbgerrish inspired scale courier. It will be different that Ryan's, but the idea was inpired from him.

specs for the most part are:

Custom chassis, links and tube work by Brando
NIB locked pede trans , it will be layed down like a SW2
WB 11.5" - scale with the body.
COG 3"
45t lathe
16T pinon
120T spur - both 64 pitch
maxx 2.5 driveshafts
NIB locked and BB TLT axles with custom steering
HPI spilt spoke wheels, narrowed both sides
Rckjeep rings
2.2 moabs with custom foam and weight
Proline courier body
Custom canvas "can-back" topper with custom Con-ferr roof rack

Big thanks to Brando for his awesome start for my project, his work is truly unmatched.

on to the pics, flame away.

This will be the first frame I have done with a laydown tranny. As it sits in the pics there is 3" under the belly. This is the same as my other trucks. But the frame has a bunch more front and rear kickup. This way the tranny will lay down low on the rails. While keeping the scale look we want this one to perform better on the rocks. Should be pretty cool.

Looks good so far! What size is the square tubing? The smallest I've been able to find so far is 3/8" & it seems kinda big. I was hoping to find 1/4" square tubing, but haven't had any luck.

is that gonna be the only bracing? or is the way your going to mount the tranny also going to brace the chassis. how much does a brando chassis run? well have a good one.

This truck is in it's early stages. There will be plenty more bracing, tubes, and brackets. Stay tuned.

More information about pricing and lead time can be found here. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23207 Thanks.

Keep at it.

Anything Ryan builds gets my respect. I'm sure this one will be no different.
