2.2 jeep cherokee custom chassis, What do u think? http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/a...7/DSCF0210.jpg http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/a...7/DSCF0214.jpg http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/a...7/DSCF0211.jpg http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/a...7/DSCF0212.jpg http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/a...7/DSCF0213.jpg |
ive seen a few in real life that look like that! i would drop the body down a couple clicks and de-anodize the links would make it look "more scale" |
ya i think im going to change the springs to full droop instead and then get the chassis and links powder coated black |
looks good. I just got mine on my losi night crawler. |
did u post pics? |

I dig the black, but is it just me...or did you put the stickers over the over spray plastic? |
no its paint with the plastic peeled off, i did black because thats what my 1:1 is and because i didnt have to do the roof rack and bumper a different color to make it look better |
I got ya, my computer monitor at home isnt the greatest. |
deffinatly lower the body a bit |
Body is too high and too far back. Your home-made 4-link plate on the rear axle is already cracked. I'd replace it with something a lot stronger. I've been wondering what 2.2s would look like under this body. Too big for my taste, but yeah, I've seen pics of 1:1 rigs with that big of tires under them. If that's what you like, then go for it. |
the rear 4 link setup looks pretty bad honestly. probably not gonna drive very well. you want the mounting holes for the upper links to be a little lower on the chassis end. you don't need that much vertical separation. |
ya i know i just did it to see how it does with a wider 4 link i have the aluminum one im going to put on it. here are a couple updated pics with it lowered to full droop setup. http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/a...7/DSCF0215.jpg http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/a...7/DSCF0216.jpg |
No, what people meant was lower the body :D! If that's at full droop sitting there, the tires should tuck right into the wheel wells. Looks like you could lower that body another 1/2 - 3/4" or so. |
ya i think it would look a ton more scale if you didnt see where the lower links mounted from the side! |
