Default My SCX-10 Cherokee

I painted this today and got it mounted on the chassis. There was a lot of trimming to get the 2.2's to fit. Here are a few pics, I still need to do a few tweeks on it. I was thinking about mounting some fender flares too.

Looks good. Maybe some fender wells to hide all the exposed electronics from trimming the body?

Love the tires, they work great on dirt and mud.

It's too clean .

Seriously though, looks great. I'm likin' the roof rack. Hope you can make the next GTG.

very nice, I'm in the process of building one myself. How was mounting the fender flares? about how much did you have to trim for the 2.2 mudslingers?

The mounting was pretty easy, just marked the holes and used a body reamer. Trimming for the tires wasn't too bad, I cut the front and rear bumpers off because I didn't like the way it looked with 4 bumpers.

I modified my flares from mine too on my first SCX, I am planning to do my new one based on the Cherokee as a 2.2, the 1.9's just didn't cut it for me. I am gonna rebuild my scx as I build my wreckluse up over the winter. Looks very clean man, I like it a lot. Whatrsize shocks did you use?
