Default Dorkstar Productions Presents... "Hera," an Experiment in Terror

I'm not sure this is a good idea....

But what the hell.

Loaded Axial axles from my Dorkstar Jeep/Chevy 2.2"

Summit Tranny from the same donor:

I wanted the tranny to sit flush on the SCX skid, so some shaving was in order:

Axial SCX10 Chassis rails x4. There's no better scale chassis!

Drop section:

Prepped for welding:

Welded:

Basic front mockup- the summit tranny sits a bit lower on the srop section, but the stock Axial SCX-10 skid is still utilized.

That's all for today.

Bad things are coming.

Stay tuned....

Here we go again.

Another one of those same old out of control, over the top Gerrish builds.

I can only imagine what you're up to Ryan.

So is there a reason you're naming it after the Greek goddess of women and marriage ?

I've always liked the name Hera, although the Greek goddess isnt ideal in definition. She was vengeful and murderous though, which is something!

More:

Summit Tranny mounts in:

Bolted in:

Rear end bolted on. The idea here is LOW and LONG! 13/5" wheelbase, about the same as the Dorkstar Hybrid.

Carbon Shift servo mount:

Carbon winch servo mount and ESC tray. (All from old Helicopter side plates):

Power is in the rear- (2) Maxamp 2200 11.1V Lipos in.... Series!

More later... Body, Tube work and other fun bits coming soon!

Ryan

I got all excited thinking that you were going to rebuild the tupperware monster...

Seriously though, I look forwarding seeing (and hopefully photographing) another one of your crazy creations in action.
