Default New Bright JK 4 Door SLASH 4x4

Well here is the deal. I wanted to get a Wraith as I already have two SCX-10's. I already told fellow forum member (Version_three) that I would build a Comp Rig next before I bought another rig. I wanted to do something a little different with my Zombie Hunter JK body and didnt want to wait to get a Wraith so I decided to use my Slash 4x4 Platinum. Im not sure if it belongs here in the 2.2 section but I will be using 2.2 wheels and tires. Here are a few pics of mock up and fitting of wheels and body. I think I might be liking how this is going.....

This rig is going to be built for one thing..... BASHING and BEATING THE LIVING SNOT OUT OF IT!!!!!
We have an area where we go muddin and trail runnin and I figured this would be a killer build for that type of runnin.

Any advice or opinions are always welcome. Its always good to get another set of eyes on a project just incase I miss something or if there is a better way. Thanks

Looks darn good! Like the mash-up. Wheelbase is close to perfect for that body.

Ultimate R/C did something similar to this.
Project: Chimera A -- All-terrain Slash 4x4 conversion

Very cool, thanks for the link on it. Maybe I can get some info from his build. I did know about it and thats what kindof pushed me to it, that and I didnt want to spend the 350 for a Wraith right now. Trying to save for a Comp Rig. But it appears that this should work out pretty well. The ESC I have is programmable and I can adjust the brake, punch control and many other specs so I should be able to make it a little better handling on hills and such.

Default Update: Mounted

Well here is an update, got the thing mounted and suspension setup. Used 1/8th scale Buggy front shocks on the rear end. Worked out pretty well. Also just used old mounting holes I had and made brackets to use. Looks good. Need wheel extensions for the front to use my 2.2 Rocksters and Chisels. The wheel hits the knuckle. But I did a test run and boy this thing is gonna be fun in the mud.

Put the Slash wheels back on to do a test run.

nicely done, body looks like it was made for it length wise. for some odd reason, this thing is screaming for the 2.2 two faces to me, just for a looks factor. keep up the good work
