Coming together very nicely Dave I like the simple lines of the body panels and the hood. Just a thought on the steering, do you have room up front for a bell-crank set up. There was a thread on here (cant seem to find it now) last week showing that setup. Carry on

Thanks Bill. I like how you think. I saw that too. I think warpig has one on his. I have been trying to see how I could squeeze one in there, maybe.

Thank you. Give tcs crawlers a call. I'm pretty sure they have them in stock and just haven't listed them on their site for some reason. It's where mine came from. I can't speak from personal experiance but a friend of mine ran the RC4WD killer t-case at a KOH style event we did a couple of weeks ago without any issues.

In that case, i'll grab one from each supplier to see which one works best. Fit is definitly a big issue as i'm building a 1/16th scale truck right now. Thanx again! Oh, almost forgot..got a subscription!

I finally got it on the rocks today. It worked pretty good for the first time out. I still need to work on the steering but that's it. The rocks here in Pacific Grove are very grippy so my paint job got pretty hammered.

Looks good Dave.
I like how you started your build after me and still finished before me, I need to get my truck done so I can come scale out with you guys and hopefully make it to the G6 comp.

Thanks. Funny how that worked out. It's only because I had 2 weeks off in December.

Thanks Dean. And thanks for these bad ass lights. I mounted them tonight with some temp tabs.

3" LED light strip. Sealed in with clear epoxy resin.

The housing is hand made from sheet metal. Hand made mounting tabs brazed on.

Connected straight to your battery source. Running on 3S right now.

Trust me, they're blinding!

I'm not sure now. I like the look of them up higher. After seeing you on your lid several times yesterday and not messing yours up I know they can take the abuse.

I got my shortened MIP cvd's back from hellbentrodder. He did an amazing job on these. They were cut down on a lathe and welded back together.
